This direction is recognized as the point from where earth’s powerful magnetic energy is generated. North and east are less suitable and south of the house should be avoided. The ideal place for thealter is the east or west so that the person offering prayers can face east or west.
# Bedroom is one of the most important areas of the house. You probably spend more time in this part of the house than in any other, and the more time you spend in an area the more influence that area can have on you. Also, the bedroom is where you sleep, and proper sleep is vital to health. Finally, it is often a key area for relationship. The ideal location for the bedroom is south-west or south or west. Avoid bedroom in the south-east as this is the fire zone and sleeping here causes friction and clashes in relationship.
# Children’s bedroom in the Northeast, East or Southeast part of the house is more yang, being a bit more yang will encourage our children to concentrate better, develop organizational skills and generally take their studies more seriously. If they become too Yang, however, they may become restless and yearn to go out instead. It is therefore important that you get the correct balance. When children are sharing a room, try to place the boys in the east and girls in the west to create family harmony.
# The best placement for the kitchen is in the Southeastern sector of the home. To cook food properly we need abundance of the Fire element, which is found primarily in the Southeast which is an ideal kitchen location, Northwest could be an alternative site. It is better to avoid kitchen in the Southwest.
